WHO WE ARE

Atira Development Society is a “sibling” not for profit organization to Atira Women’s Resource Society. Its primary purpose is to relieve poverty by providing affordable housing for persons of low or low to moderate incomes, with a focus on persons affected by gender inequality and gender based violence.

Atira Development Society has an emphasis on independent or light support mixed-income and mixed use rental buildings, with a vision to add affordable home ownership units when the opportunity allows.
